Histopathological Spectrum of Adult and Paediatric Meningiomas

Introduction: Meningiomas are a group of neoplasms showing spectrum histopathological variants, mostly corresponding to World Health Organization (WHO) grade I. However, certain histologic variants correspond histologically WHO grades II and III. In this study, the adult as well paediatric meningiomas received in our department over last 12 years is being revisited with aim analyse various assess their per 2016 criteria, epidemiology localization.
 Material methods: A retrospective analysis histopathology records clinical case files was done 336 cases (adult meningiomas) histopathologically diagnosed intracranial intraspinal (WHO I, III) period (starting from 2009-2020) department.
 Results: The commonest adults children Grade I while variant Transitional meningioma. 
 Conclusion: As classification CNS Tumours 2016, associated low risk recurrence aggressive behaviour, III greater likelihood highlighting importance accurate typing grading on histopathology.
